Bullpen Call ("we", "the site") is a free baseball strategy game. This policy explains what information the site uses and why.

What we store

• On your device: your game progress, best Survivor streak, the manager name you choose, and a random device ID, kept in your browser's local storage. You can clear them by clearing site data in your browser.
• On our server, when you finish a game: your random device ID, the calls you made, and the score and result the server computes by replaying them. This is how scores are verified and how "better than X% of managers today" is worked out. It is not linked to your identity and does not appear on the public leaderboard unless you post a name.
• If you post to the leaderboard: the manager name you type is shown next to your score or streak.
• Abuse prevention: a one-way hash of your IP address (not the address itself), used to rate-limit submissions and stop one person from flooding the leaderboard.

Advertising

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

• You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info.

• Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked for consent through a Google-certified consent message before personalized ads are shown.

Hosting and logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard request information (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver and protect the site. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when your browser downloads them.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
